Why:Subdivision Road Rehabilitation Project (Construction is funded by Howell Township Road Millage.)

T & M Asphalt Paving Company is the Qualified Low Bidder for the road rehabilitation on Indian Camp Trail. The Contractor is scheduled to begin work on the road the week of June 21, 2010, weather permitting of course.

The Contractor will begin by cleaning the streets, sealing the drainage structures and making pavement repairs before placing the top course of Hot Mix Asphalt. The roadway will be open to traffic, but be careful it could be rough in areas where the existing pavement has been removed. This surface may also be dusty at times, so please be patient.

It is critical that all residents follow the direction of the traffic control personnel during construction. You may experience short delays during construction, so give yourself a little extra time to make appointments on these days.

Residents must keep all sprinklers off that may reach or cause drainage into the roadway during construction. This could severely compromise the quality of road construction your township millage is paying for. Any sprinklers within 5 feet of the edge of existing pavement should be identify with a flag. The contractor will take every precaution not to damage them, but we cannot be responsible for damaged sprinklers, invisible fencing, landscaping, etc…within the road right of way.

Anymailboxes that are in the way of paving will be temporarily moved and reset by the contractor.Garbage pick up may need to be rescheduled during the paving phases of construction to protect your investment.

Again, please follow the direction of the traffic control personnel for your safety and theirs. We appreciate your patience and cooperation in advance.

Motorist are advised to except delays and to avoid to area if possible. This projection is expected to run until the first of August 2010.
